Have you ever heard of “The Red Lotus Sea” in Northern Thailand? The lake is filled with pink waterlilies around January. As I love photographing waterlilies, I visited there during the New Year’s Holiday.

The flowers open at dawn and close around the noon. So I hired a local taxi to get there in time. Then I hired a boat at the shore.

When I arrived at the lake, it was still very dark and I wasn’t able to find any flower. As I sailed into the lake, the sun begun to rise. Then I found myself surrounded by a number of waterlilies. I guess you’ve never seen so many waterlilies in one place.
