I’m Kunito Imai, a nature photographer in Tokyo. One of my longtime dreams was to shoot hummingbirds. Unfortunately, they only live in the Americas and can’t be seen anywhere else in the world.
So I visited Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, the country also known as the land of the hummingbirds.

It`s great that there are still people who stop for a moment to appreciate the beauty of the little things and even photograph them. Humingbirds are one of the most enigmatic members of the animal kingdom. Their youngs are smaller than bugs, every night they basically hybernate in order to save their energy and if you think of it... The idea of a bird, which feeds only on nectar... Hummingbirds are just natural wonders!
