I’ve Traveled Around The World With A Cinderella Dress To Capture The Beauty Of Traveling Solo
As a travel blogger and photographer, I get dozens of emails from women who are scared to travel solo. Many times, women will choose to set aside their travel dreams just because they don’t have a partner to travel with. As someone who travels often, I feel compelled to encourage women to book that ticket and go.
Traveling solo can be scary, but it can also be very rewarding. I believe solo travel is extremely empowering because you are forced to depend on yourself. Relying on your own ingenuity makes you realize how capable you really are.
After a Disney-themed party with friends at home, I felt inspired to carry around this gigantic ball gown to several destinations around the world in order to create a unique photo series to convey the beauty of solo travel.
I hope these images will encourage women (and men) to embrace their confidence, go explore, and view the world as a magical place. There is a beauty in facing your fears and that is what I hope to convey with these images.
I’ll be adding to this series throughout the year and sharing the images on my Instagram page as well as my travel blog. I have some exciting travel plans coming up and I’m definitely taking Cinderella along for the ride!
