I started painting myself around two years ago. I wanted to train in FX makeup after years of trying to figure out what I really wanted to do for a living. Even though I'm borderline movie and TV obsessed, I had never thought to look into it as a profession. After taking a theater makeup class in college and getting to play with gore and big fake noses, I just knew it was what I had been looking for.
As I slowly ventured into the world of self-taught makeup artists I realized how pricey the materials could be. SO many of the dollars! Though my dreams were big my wallet was not! So I started using my paints more and more due to the fact that they lasted longer and were less expensive to replenish. So for the last year or so I've almost exclusively painted, though I have participated and done some FX makeup in a couple small independent films.
Most of my looks take between 10-20 hours; mostly due to the difficulty of painting on myself! It's a very zen experience, though; you take all the time to try and make it perfect, take a few pictures and videos, and wash it off straight away. It's my version of a sand garden!
My style is definitely more cartoonish in my opinion; I like bold outlines and comic type images and I think that shows! I am the craft board queen, I use it for basically everything that I need but can't paint on!

Is that A.B.A. from Guilty Gear???? Great take on the character if yes.
Colossus! 😍 You have no idea how happy you're making me with all these X-Men characters. Also, sorry for commenting on so many pics, but I just have to!
Dununununununu Ballora Dununununununu don't kill me dunununuNUNUNU
I'm not a comics reader, gamer girl, or someone who would know who all of these characters are, but I CAN realize talent when I see it. I'm blown away by all of your work, but especially those where you have created intricate artwork over your closed eyelids! Just wonderful!
I'd say the vast majority of them aren't from comics or games anyway. Most seem to be original designs.
