The Harry Potter fans in Dumbledore’s Army know that the books will never lay forgotten on their shelves. So does Hungarian art student Kincső Nagy, who created a set of amazing new glow-in-the-dark cover designs for J. K. Rowling’s definitive series of books. The newly-designed covers’ mysterious glow will take you even deeper into Potter’s magical world of witchcraft. She even updated the Philosopher’s Stone book with amazing pop-up illustrations.

Kincső designed these covers as her Bachelor’s degree project as a supreme act of Harry Potter fandom. “The Harry Potter books are extremely magical, mysterious and adventurous,” writes Nagy. “These books are on the border of childhood, therefore my goal was to redesign them with illustrations that reflect this extraordinary atmosphere.“

Over time, I transitioned through different roles until I eventually became the Content Lead. In this position, I now oversee the creation of the viral content published here on Bored Panda. While my primary focus lies in raising awareness about important social issues like gender and race equality, as well as mental health topics, I also enjoy sharing lighter content, such as memes, cat images and intriguing world curiosities. Outside of work, you'll likely find me engaged in one of five activities: planning a vacation, browsing thrift stores, experimenting in the kitchen, watching movies, or spending quality time with my two cats.
