16 Funny Tweets Prove That Kids Today Have No Clue About Old Technology
Technology allows us to communicate instantly, but also creates barriers to understanding. The world is changing so quickly, that what was once common is quickly outdated, along with all the idioms, colloquialisms, and slang that came with it. But I must sound like a broken record to you…
These tweets perfectly illustrate the generational linguistic divide between adults and children: we use a metaphor or analogy to try and make what we say clearer, and it backfires! So, dear pandas—do you have any examples of the kids these days just not getting it? Vote on your favorite tweet below, or post your own!

The computers at my house arn't a]touch screens, so I have to yell at my friends to not touch the comuter screen. It always ends with me creating a (halfly true) story about what could happen when they thouch the screen, mainly involving frayed circuits and stuff.
Had similar question nearly 30 years ago. Took my eldest, then 4 or 5 to barber's with me. While I was waiting for my turn in the chair to get my hair cut, my daughter nudged me and asked "What's wrong with their TV Dad?". The shop had a small B&W portable, daughter had never seen a B&W set before.
And this is why my children will be spending every summer on the farm or at the family ranch no technology all summer that's how my hubby was raised that's how our kids will be as well
My younger cousin asked me. "What are those big black things? They turn on this thing that makes them play music? Like a cd but big and black?"
All I'll say is, stop putting technology in your kids hands. Play with them, let them see the trees, let them be at one with the world and their surroundings. I think there may be a slight link between the anti social behaviours of modern children and the amount of screens they are staring at on a day to day basis! Just saying!
My big thing is that with digital clocks taking over the world, we're going to have to figure out another way to describe clockwise and counterclockwise.
please.. please lets ensure our gets spend enough time outdoors with the environment, playing, falling, getting up, dusting themselves.. they would, otherwise, never know how to play football, cricket, basketball, and all in real.. they would just end up playing everything on playstations and xboxes and all
