53 Funny And Weird Signs People Found Around The World

If you travel a lot, you’ve probably noticed that street signs around the world are almost identical in every country you visit. That’s not a surprise—they are usually made in a way that everyone can understand them independent of nationality and not get into trouble.

However, you will always notice even the slightest change in size or color if it differs from your hometown. Of course, subtle differences in color and shape are nothing compared to the funny signs you are about to see because people’s stupidity (creativity?) around the world knows no bounds. In fact, these weird signs do anything but help.

Starting with strange billboards and ending with weird town names and funny street signs, this compilation of stupid and funny road signs that actually exist has it all. There are plenty of pedestrian crossing signs that don’t make sense, and translation fails abound too.

But we’d still like to know the story behind a sign saying, ‘Not responsible if seagulls eat your funnel cake.’ Did it happen that often? Did people really blame the cafe owner for that? Who knows.

Not sure why the Mountain lion one was supposed to be funny... It's mean to help those who have never seen a mountain lion. They will eat/attack your kids, you want to be as big and intimidating as possible so bending to pick them up is BAD, making noise can scare them... Maybe it's just because I grew up rurally that I think it's important for this sign to exist and that it's not funny.
