Guy Makes Fully-Functional Nikon Camera Halloween Costume, Spends Whole Evening Taking Pics
Don’t you just hate it when you spend ages making a Halloween costume only to discover that it’s the same as everybody else’s (yes, Harley Quinn fans, I’m talking to you)? Well, photographer Bryan Troll didn’t have that problem this year, because he was the only guy we know who turned himself into a fully functional Nikon camera!
“I spent at least 40 hours making it over many late nights, about $100 in cardboard, tape, rubber cement, plexiglass, and spray paint, and stuffed it with a few thousand dollars in camera equipment,” the Florida-based photographer told DIY photography. The costume can take photographs and includes a working flash and even an LCD screen. Talk about a seriously “snappy” Halloween outfit! Sorry.

Share on FacebookOne of my first "serious" gifts as a kid was a Kodak 110 Instamatic. Six inches long, 1-inch thick and mega-butt-ugly, but from that moment a love of cameras was a love that still grows stronger as I grow older. I've bought more cameras (new and vintage), taken more photos (film and digital) and adored camera design from every era since the dawn of photography. THIS, however, BEATS THEM ALL!! This man is not only ridiculously clever but a worthy craftsman who took great care in making even the most minute feature as realistically Nikon as possible. And, even more mind-boggling, it actually takes pictures! ALL HAIL NIKON MAN!!
