Guy's Friends Hold Funeral For Him After He Finds Girlfriend

Adam Milner, a student at St Mary’s University in Twickenham, UK, was just 21 years old when his life was tragically taken away from him. He isn’t dead or anything, but according to his friends he may as well be, because since Adam got a girlfriend they’ve barely seen or heard from him. So doing what any friends would do when they’ve lost one of their own, they decided to hold a funeral for Adam, and as you can see, it was a pretty touching affair.

They arranged a table with a picture of him surrounded by some of his favorite things including cigarettes, video games, and a baseball cap. They also spoke fondly of him and played sad music before his friend, Ben Hull, gave a speech dedicated to their “fallen friend.” The ceremony was completed with a collective rendition of ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’ before they all had a drink in their late friend’s honor. Rest In Peace Adam. You will be missed.

Maybe this guy really did stop going out with them etc. People have been known to do that when they're in a relationship ahaha.

I'm not sure, someone's done this before (also featured here on Bored Panda), and I find it both funny/cute-ish and kinda passive aggressive (maybe with a dose of jealousy). Whatever. To each their own, I guess. As long as they let them be and don't get inbetween their friend and girlfriend's happiness, all's good.

So true. And sadly, it's mostly guys that do this. Women rarely break ties with their friends. I'm guessing it's women's fault that men become such recluses after entering in a meaningful relationship. I'm a woman and this same thing happened to me. I introduced my best guy friend from the university to my best girl friend from high school. I was the "best man" at their wedding but even then we weren't as close as we used to be. It was all very gradual, but in the end we lost all contact. I used to call and visit, but stopped when I realized that it was always I who called. She, on the other hand, maintained warm relations with all her other friends, and he lost the only other connection he had besides his girlfriend (now wife). I actually regret this dismal matchmaking endeavor.
