These are absolutely beautiful and must involve a great deal of skill. I'm not the sort of person who takes photos of my food, but I would definitely make an exception for these! I'd probably feel too guilty to eat most of them...their little faces!
most of the transparent sweets are konnyaku (agar). It's pretty common in Singapore, and you can buy a pack of agar powder in most supermarkets - just dissolve in hot water, add flavour (orange juice for example) and pour into moulds and let it cool and solidify in the fridge
There are several places here in the USA, depends on where you live. In Nyc there are a few places. Just over the gw bridge in New Jersey is a store dedicated to stuff like this. Boston has porters square. Around Washington, D.C. Has a place. Pretty much some place that has a china town most likely have a store that has sweets like this. I can give you store names and addresses if I know what part of the country you are in. And don't forget, most places deliver
