This is probably what people are mixing this story with, and it's another weird one. Same thing happened to my friend years ago. He found his at in the street, so Kitty was given a nice service and a place to rest in his backyard. Then Kitty came home! So, some other poor cat got buried. We thought it was a nice thing, to keep him in the backyard.

I agree with you, Hans. I'm afraid nowadays people are so hungry for attention (an upvote, a thumb up) they simply share everything and anything with the entire world. I like the internet to share and sicover stories that are interesting, heartwarming, and/or that raise awareness, you know, things that matter and that are REAL. Nevertheless, having to check everything all the time because facts don't make sense or are a bit twisted, or seeing a lot of stories that aren't relevant at all it's a real bummer.

Why did they change the story? It looks perfectly normally now but I WANT THE TRUTH DAMMIT. What's this about a rabbit? I didn't see the original thing.

I'm wondering how you got the rabbit paw thing in this story. They buried someone else's cat, not a rabbit.
