$18 Kitchen Invention ‘Eggbears’ Makes Boiling And Holding Brown Eggs Easy And Fun

Peleg Design is a company designing and selling various unique-looking products designed to be used in homes, offices, and other living spaces. Last year, Bored Panda introduced you to their adorable kitchen gadget called “Egguins” – a penguin egg cooker that lets you boil eggs inside the birds’ tummies. This year, Peleg Design is continuing to surprise us by releasing a new multifunctional egg holder called “Eggbears,” and this time, the invention resembles a pack of six adorable little bears.

These little brown bears are a 3-in-1 kitchen gadget. First of all, they make boiling eggs a breeze since you don’t have to watch out for splashing hot water and “fish around” for your eggs with a spoon once they’re cooked. Yes, no more worrying about burning your hands on the hot water or steam.

“The beginning of the inspiration behind ‘Egguins’ and ‘Eggbears’ was the egg itself. The color and the form of the egg remind us of the belly of a penguin/bear. At the same time, we were looking for a solution to improve the process of cooking a few eggs together, simultaneously. When we combined the new form and the new function, the family was born. Now, using these products creates a whole experience from the cooking to the storage, in a fun way,” Peleg Design told us.

In addition, these six little friends allow you to serve your cooked eggs for family or friends in the most adorable way. Besides, you can also store any leftover eggs within “Eggbears” inside the fridge.

“‘Eggbears’ was born as a result of the amazing feedback and reactions we received about the ‘Egguins’ which was launched about a year prior,” the company shared with us. “‘Egguins’ works best with white eggs since a penguin’s belly is white, but we noticed many people use ‘Egguins’ with brown eggs, which didn’t have the same effect. So we decided to design another version that will look great with both white and brown eggs. After some brainstorming, we came up with the bears idea and it was perfect!”

We were curious to find out, what the team of the company themselves like the most about this product. “We love the full-breakfast experience that it creates–from cooking, through serving to storing. Always in use, always putting a smile on your face and brightening up your day, and of course, we love just how cute it is!” Peleg Design told us. “Customers of all ages love the egg holders and like to use them on a daily basis. We’ve been getting great responses which encourage us to expand the family more and more!”
