Meet Maro the cat, the cutest dinner date ever. Since this Japan-based kitty was 7 months old, he has lived with his human mother Rie Matsui. Matsui is passionate about photography and Japanese food culture. So, as soon as she realized that Maro is such a relaxed cat who is ok with almost anything as long as he gets to hang out with his human, the woman came up with a brilliant idea. She started dressing up Maro in the cutest outfits and taking pictures of her feline as her dinner companion. "He is great at posing, because he's so quiet and easygoing," Rie Matsui told The Dodo.
Maro's Instagram is not only perfect to get your daily dose of cute, it also takes you on a journey through the world's cuisine - whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, or tea ceremonies. But the truth is that the kitty isn't there for the food, but to enjoy his mom's company. "He never eats the food, although sometimes I give him a little reward after shooting," Matsui said. So yeah, next time you want to go out on a dinner date with a cute guy, maybe just skip the complicated human dating stuff and just go for someone like Maro.

"Okay you eat all the vegetables and I will eat the raw fish and maybe a little avocado. "
I love the Japanese concept that sandwiches (and exactly this kind) are super posh food that French aristocracy ate for luncheons. Came across it several times in anime too.
Wow, seriously wow. At first, I was like 'oh, how cute, cosplaying cat' but after few pics, it dawned on me that these are really good food photos and the cat is like a guarantee that they are really all by the same author.
