Mom Sews Incredibly Accurate Disney Costumes For Her Daughter To Wear At Disney World
Community member
Three-year-old Lane Rouch from Florida is an unofficial star attraction whenever she shows up at Orlando Disney World thanks to her incredible Disney-like costumes, which make her look like she sprung out of one of Disney’s fantasy worlds.
The credit, of course, goes to her crafty mum Jennifer Rouch, who has a passion and talent for creative costume-making with materials from thrift shops. Rouch, who is a self-avowed Disney fan, bought annual passes to help her little girl conquer her shyness, and now takes her there every week together with her husband, Chad.

Every child should have a mummy & daddy like that to make childhood fantasies come alive.
Are you freaking serious?! You need help in a very real way. Seriously.
Load More Replies...hey i'm only seeing this post now and i see that it was put online like two year ago so sorry to bring this up, but i'm curious to what is that that person wrote that made everyone freak out, beacause all that appears in my screen is "Every child should have a mummy & daddy like that to make childhood fantasies come alive." and that can't be right because people wouldn't freak out over that
Wth. Why is he a pervert? All he said was that every child should have (a) parent(s) that make their dreams come true. Maybe they don't need to be taken to Disney World, but if the child has a favorite thing -say, Elsa- then the parent(s) should make Elsa cookies or something. Nothing big, just enough that they feel that their parent(s) are paying attention to their likes and dislikes
People like you should be castrated and put on an IV drip that slowly releases acid into your blood stream.
Not every parent can afford something like this, I'm sure alot of parents without the money to do something like this try very hard too.
Someone always has to rain on the parade. Seriously, people...just live and let live. DEAR GAWD!
Did you miss the part where it said that mom gets all of her stuff for the costumes at second-hand stores?
And mom encouraged me to learn to sew. I now do it semi-professionally and can't wait to do this for my kids.
Wow, SJW, much? My parents couldn't afford to take me to Disneyworld, but they bought me "princess dresses" from thrift stores all the time.
It probably still costs quite a bit to go to Disneyland so often, despite using costume materials from second-hand stores.
probably cost less than buying one video game for a kid they should cherish the moments with their little one like this they grow up too fa
No one's shaming less fortunate families in this-it's probably cheaper than seeing therapists, anxiety meds /larger probs down the line btw
Hating someone who can afford to do this because you can't is like hating the guy driving the Lexus from your crappy Toyota!
Even buying a lot of the stuff second hand adds up. Based on the ones near me, I'd guess an average of $20+. With some being a lot more.
of course they do but why do you feel it's necessary to say something negative about a parent doing something amazing for their child?
I don't think Hannahknight meant anything bad by what she said. I just think GlynisLailan's comment just made it sound like you SHOULD do it
This fam is rich. when I was broke but still loved fashion, I shopped 50% off at thrift store w/ budget of$1 for new clothes for 2 mths.
It dosen't necessarily mean you have to take your kid to disneyland!
[Continued] Or any dresses for that matter. I can't even hem pants! I still think it's cool that the woman did thatdo.
It takes less than $10 or £10 to make one of these outfits 3 times cheaper than buying the tacky ones from the disney shop
GlynisLailann didn't say EVERY parent should make childhood fantasies come alive by specifically taking them to DW in homemade costumes.
"Hating someone because they have money is just like them hating us because we dont".... name the movie.
Even if you have money to buy cloth cheaply, not everyone can sew like that. It requires great skill to make "Disney" dresses.
NetsirkKnud is obviously rich. Just because they shop at second hand stores does not mean others can afford the necessities in life
of course they do but why say something negative about a parent doing something amazing for their child?
But it is great that they can do this, but a looott of people can't, no doubt though that this kid will cherish it and the fond memories
Just saying but $60 a month is a fair, not including travel/fabrics/food also it costs in terms of time, especially if you work long hours

F**k off Hannah Knight you must be the biggest hater

People, do not feed the troll, by freaking out in replies to this comment you're just giving him what he wants.
This is posted by the user named Author. I don't think anyone hacked this account and thus Scott Archer is the "funny" ahole.
Burn in hell you f*****g creep. I don't care if you're "trolling," keep your perverted thoughts to yourself.
You need to be a*s raped by several inmates, at once, if I could find you, I'd end you!

Are you trying to throw shade at same-sex couples?
...Really? I'm sure all she meant was that everyone should have parents as lovely as them. Your negativity is absolutely ridiculous.
I'm gay. And even I think your comment here was ridiculous. Not at all directed towards same sex couples, by saying "'mommies and daddies"
but regardless of if you are gay or straight... you are still a mum OR dad to a child... so your point is moronic...
No ill intent can be said for Glynis' comment. It can be said the she used "mommy and daddy" since it was specifically to this situation.
This is you, "Waa waa, I have to turn every post online into a gay/straight issue for attention, WAA!"
Nowhere does it imply that this is a gay straight issue, get the f**k over yourself, and I'm not gay bashing, I'm moron bashing, deal!

Every child should have a mother and a father. In a perfect world. Definitely. Same-sex parents are not ideal.
