Cat Rescued Hours Before Death Row, Can’t Stop Thanking His Rescuer On Their Way Home
With just hours left on death row, this adorable kitten named Henry was saved. The way he thanked his rescuer is just too cute.
“One of our dedicated foster carers (Adelle) rescued this gorgeous boy today from the pound,” Cat Rescue Newcastle said. “He had a matter of hours before his time was up but we swooped in and did what we do best; saved a life.” Henry was so grateful, he couldn’t stop cuddling and kissing his rescuer. Adelle even managed to find a forever home for him and Henry couldn’t be happier. “These are the days we live for,” Cat Rescue Newcastle said.

Share on FacebookWhy would anyone put an innocent kitten to a death row? Did it commit a terrible crime?
No, but animals that don't get adopted "on time" are usually put down. Since people believe they'll never find a home. It's really sad.
Load More Replies...It is a nice story and clearly a very affectionate cat that cannot have been happy in the shelter and enjoys the new company. However, gratefulness is an abstract concept (just as being guilty is, btw) that animals don't understand. I've read too many posts online were people were angry because their adopted pet acted confused or scared or aggressive and at all 'grateful' as they had expected. We aren't doing our pets any favours if we anthropomorphize them all the time. I also like soppy stories but, still, more reason and knowledge and less melodrama is better for our furry companions. *steps of soap-box to cuddle her dog*
What a lucky kitty!! My heart hurts thinking about how many others don't have the same fortune....
