Here are my self-portraits as a cancer patient. The pictures show how I went from extremely weak, vulnerable and scared condition to become more positive, strong and free. The last picture shows my freedom after being cured.

At the age of 14 I was diagnosed with the 4th stage of bone cancer. Doctors were not certain if I would survive, it had spread quite a bit. But somehow with all the positivity years later I’m writing this. I’m thankful for the struggle because it gave me strength and made me who I am.

Hope this post helps anyone and everyone going through something. Cancer or otherwise. Belief in yourself and remain positive.

Somehow I managed to stay positive because I always thought it would be okay

I can’t even begin to describe the relief I felt when I left the hospital cancer-free

No matter how difficult it was, I’m thankful for the struggle because it gave me strength and made me who I am
