The Imagination Machine, an innovative installation for S7 Airlines, uses EEG-technology to turn brains into game controllers, as participants use only the power of their imagination to control a virtual plane.
Seated in front of a large 2-meter projection-mapped globe and fitted with an EEG-brainwave headset to monitor focus, participants had 45-seconds to manoeuvre a small physical plane to their dream destination – using only the power of their mind. Users who could remain focused and successfully land their plane were awarded a round trip to their chosen destination.
Unveiled in Moscow last week, the Imagination Machine is part of the Russian airline’s recent ‘Fly to any place you can imagine’ campaign. The stunt truly putting the wonders of the world in the grasp of anyone who could stay focused on their dream destination, and showing that with S7 Airlines you really can fly to any place you can imagine.
