National Geographic just published its 2015 Photo of the Day roundup, picked indirectly by users like you:
“Each day, we bring you one photo from around National Geographic that fits our criteria for Photo of the Day—sometimes classic, sometimes quirky, always an image with a story to tell,” National Geographic explains on their webpage. “For this year’s roundup, we looked at shares, likes, and comments from the social sphere to see which ones resonated most with you.”
Now we want you, Bored Panda readers, to be the judges! Which picture do YOU think is the best? Check out the 20 pictures below and vote!

The Village, Hungary
It's not really a village... But it's wonderful to see this pic as the 2nd best! :) ♡
Cracking The Surface, Lake Baikal
Against The Wind, Canada
Something’s Fishy, British Columbia Coast, Canada
When Penguins Attack, Antarctica
Mother Of The Forest, Madagascar
Falls In Autumn, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia
Bioluminous Larak, Iran
Dancing With The Moon, Iceland
Fox Found, Gran Paradiso National Park, Italy
Winter White, Gran Paradiso National Park, Italy
Big Baby, Tonga
Bird Feeders, China
Not bird feeders - fishermen who catch fish with "help" of those birds. They tie a string on their necks so they won't be able to either run away, or swallow the fish pulled out from the water.
Kit Friendly, Estonia
Shining Through, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Wisconsin
Pretty but what catches my eye is that man to the right who appears to be walking on water. :-) Obviously frozen water but still a quirky little surprise.
Yellow Jellies, Rock Islands Of Palau
All The Fish In The Sea, Cabo Pulmo
That's a bait-ball...better be careful, they attract big predators.
Imperial Blossoms, Japan
Hull-o, Caribbean Island Of Bonaire
Enough with the cutesy, attention-grabbing photo titles. Please provide some actual, factual info to educate as well as entertain.
Too bad that magazine is dying -- it used to be a non-profit, but recently joined Murdoch's propaganda machinery. They've already fired most of their staff and replaced wildlife photography with a new focus on esoteric b******t.
