Cute Or Creepy? Avatar Babies Are Freaking The Internet Out

We still haven’t decided if these “Avatar” babies are creepy, or awesome, or maybe a bit of both. All we know for sure it that they’re definitely intriguing.

A video of them recently appeared on an Instagram page called Artshub, and it’s since been viewed over 2.4 million times. They’re not real (sorry Avatar fans), but they certainly look it. The dolls are made by Babyclon, a Spanish company that specializes in creating super-realistic babies, and the good news is that they’re available to buy. The not-so-good news is that they cost about $2,000 USD. Still, at least they won’t grow up to be Avatar teenagers. We can only imagine what a handful that would be.

Why doesn't Hollywood contact this company for some realistic newborn baby dolls instead of using a fatty 6-month-old for every birth scene on tv/movies?

Because Babyclon makes these illegally and without the permission of the original doll artists.. They are all but banned in the doll community.

It's called the uncanny valley, a part of our brain rejects images like this. Look up the word and it'll explain it

Babyclon didn't sculpt these. They only front like they do. This is the artistry of Marissa May and Elisa Marx.
